A quieter
kind of home.
VIVID DIMENSIONS is a Clermont studio making furniture and objects for people who want to live with less — and feel more.
We believe a room should hold you.
The studio began in 2021 with a single chair and a simple question: could a home be both restrained and deeply comfortable?
Our answer is a small collection of furniture, lighting and objects made from oak, ash, linen, clay and paper cord. We borrow the economy of Japanese design and the softness of Scandinavian craft — low lines, natural surfaces, nothing that asks to be noticed.
We keep production small on purpose. Most pieces are made to order, one at a time, by makers we know by name. It means a little waiting, and it means the object that arrives is genuinely yours.
Nothing here is designed to be replaced next season. It is designed to be repaired, handed on, and lived with until the wood darkens and the linen softens.
What we hold to
Three quiet rules.
They are not complicated. They simply decide everything — from the finish on a table to the box it arrives in.
01
Material honesty
Solid wood stays solid wood. Linen keeps its slubs. We finish surfaces so they can be touched, not so they can be protected from life.
02
Small-batch making
Forty independent makers, most within a day’s drive of Clermont. Short runs, fair pay, and the small variations that only a human hand gives.
03
Built to be kept
Joinery that can be tightened, covers that can be re-sewn, glazes that age rather than fade. We would rather you repair a piece than replace it.
Chronology
A slow unfolding.
A carpenter and a ceramicist set up a corner of a Clermont workshop. The first Kanso chair is built for a friend’s apartment.
Twelve pieces — seating, lighting, vessels — shown in a borrowed storefront in downtown Clermont. Everything sells; almost everything is remade to order.
The studio grows into a network of independent workshops across Florida and the Southeast, all working to the same material standards.
The studio and workshop open on Basin Street — a place to sit with the pieces before they go home with you.

Inside the studio
Hands,
not trends.
We do not work to seasons. A piece enters the collection when the material and the proportion are right — and stays until we can no longer make it well.
That pace is deliberate. It gives our makers time to work, and it gives you time to choose something you will still want in ten years.
